Darin S. Britt

OVERVIEW AND EXPERIENCE

Darin grew up in Jackson, Mississippi and obtained his undergraduate degree and a Master of Business Administration degree from Millsaps College. After working in advertising in Memphis, Tennessee for several years, he attended Tulane Law School, earning his Juris Doctorate with a certificate in Environmental Law in 2008. While at Tulane, Darin practiced as a student attorney in the Tulane Environmental Law Clinic.

Darin practices primarily in the areas of property and casualty, insurance coverage, bad faith/extracontractual claims, and products liability. Prior to joining Lobman Carnahan, he represented clients in admiralty and toxic tort matters. Darin has also served as a Staff Attorney and volunteer for the Pro Bono Project of New Orleans, representing underserved members of the local community in family law, succession, and bankruptcy matters.

Darin is admitted to practice in all Louisiana state courts, the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Louisiana, and the United States Fifth Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. He is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association, the New Orleans Bar Association, and the Louisiana Association of Defense Counsel.
