OVERVIEW AND EXPERIENCE
Lamont Hills was born in New Orleans, Louisiana, and raised in San Antonio, Texas. As a Scholarship athlete, he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Criminology from Texas A&M University in 2015. Thereafter, he attended The Southern University Law Center, where he graduated Cum Laude.
During his tenure at The Southern University Law Center, he served on the executive board of the Student Bar Association as the school’s Historian. In his last year of law school, he practiced as a student attorney with The Southern University Law Center’s Criminal Law Clinic and appeared before judges in the 19th Judicial District Court.
Lamont also clerked for the Honorable Sandra Cabrina Jenkins at the 4th Circuit Court of Appeal and the Honorable John Michael Guidry at the 1st Circuit Court of Appeal. Lamont practices primarily in the areas of insurance defense and general civil litigation. He is admitted to practice in all Louisiana state courts and is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association.
