Originally from Winter Park, Florida, Tara L. Mason is a graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology (B.S. 1992). In 1996, she received her Juris Doctorate from Louisiana State University. While at LSU, Mrs. Mason served on the 1996 Appellate Advocacy Board and won the 1996 Tullis Moot Court Competition.
From September 1996 to September 1997, Mrs. Mason served as a Law Clerk to Criminal Court Judge, Bonnie Jackson, for the 19th Judicial District Court, East Baton Rouge Parish.
Mrs. Mason joined the law firm of Lobman, Carnahan, Batt, Angelle & Nader in September 1997. She was named a partner in December 2003.
Mrs. Mason is a dedicated and experienced trial attorney. She practices in the areas of insurance litigation, employment discrimination, products liability and Katrina-Hurricane litigation.
Mrs. Mason is admitted to practice law in the State of Louisiana and in the United States Eastern District Court. She is also a member of the Louisiana Bar Association of Defense Counsel.
In the legal and business community, Mrs. Mason has served as a pro bono attorney for H.E.L.P., providing legal services to homeless and as a past chair of the Legislative Committee for The Insurance Women of Greater New Orleans (TIWOGNO). For her extraordinary work, Mrs. Mason was recognized as the TIWOGNO's Rookie of the Year, 2004-2005.
In her leisure time, Mrs. Mason enjoys bible study teaching and serving in outreach ministries with her local church.
