Pamela Richard received a Bachelor of Arts degree, magna cum laude, from Nicholls State University in 1994. She received her juris doctorate from Louisiana State University's Law Center in 1997. While attending LSU, Ms. Richard served on Appellate Advocacy Board in 1997 and was a finalist in the 1997 Tullis Moot Court Competition. She practices primarily in the areas of insurance defense, focusing on insurance coverage, insurance fraud, and bad faith litigation.

Ms. Richard is admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana and all state courts in Louisiana. She is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association and the Louisiana Association of Defense Counsel. She is also a lifetime member of the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society.

Ms. Richard was named a partner in January 2009.
